April grew up running her parent's surf shops in California and Hawaii and moved out on her own at age 13.
 
Committed to a life of adventure, April headed for Costa Rica with her backpack and a 1-way ticket in 1994, at age 18. She coached small businesses while barefoot on the beach, and started her life-long mission teaching others to “design their life through entrepreneurship”. 
 
April’s a surfer, proud disruptor, flow state addict, and mom of 3 teenage boys who always come first. She currently owns 2 international business consulting firms [The SweetLife® Company and Baby Planner Inc™] and co-owns 3 peak-performance companies.
